Author Topic: 10 year survivor today April 14, 2010 dee Member Member # 8 Member Rated: posted April 14, 2010 05:22 AM                      Ten years ago this morning I called 911 to help frantic Amazing Grace. She became more frantic every time I passed out....Amazing Grace was my cat. I went to the hospital and in less than 48 hours, I was on the vent. I learned about ARDS, sepsis, and MRSA. What a long month in CCU. I've learned a lot of big medical words and have learned a bit about patience. A lot of wonderful people helped me get to where I am today. Thanks so much!!!!
